The County Commissioners have announced that the Marion County Building will be closed to the public starting March 18, 2020
In accordance with the directives promulgated by the Ohio Department of Health to minimize the spread of COVID-19, and in the wake of the 3/22/2020 ‘Stay at Home Order’ promulgated by the Ohio Department of Health the Marion County Auditor will be using the following limited schedule seen below. Please keep in mind that many any self-service options including downloadable forms, property record searches, and online property tax payments are available on the Auditor’s website at www.co.marion.oh.us/auditor. Our office staff is also available to assist you by phone Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. by calling (740) 223-4020.
We have collaborated with the Engineer’s Office and the Recorder’s Office and will be processing deeds Wednesday, Thursday and Friday of each week. Please note the offices will be closed April 10th in observance of Good Friday.
Dog tags may be purchased online at www.doglicenses.us/OH/Marion
Customers may also call our office and request an application be mailed.
Fee Applications may be turned into a box we will have located right outside of our office. We will mail checks to everyone that does not have direct deposit. Please contact our office if you would like to sign up for direct deposit.
Until we hear otherwise from the State of Ohio, CAUV applications and BOR complaints must still be postmarked no later than March 31, 2020. Customers may mail in their applications and call us for questions or support.
